"In the ten years since Korky first asked me to have a quick look at Mark and Susan's accounts, people have often asked me what my job is. If I ever find out I'll let you know, but in the meantime: I've spent a considerable time using, upgrading and mending computers; I've learnt more about French building than most British builders, and more about French wiring than most French builders; I've moved the Europe Now office into a shed in my garden, and, more recently, into a bright pink caravan; and I'm still looking at the accounts."
