Ice Fishing in Canada

Canada is a big country with only 30 million people, making lots of room to hide. How can the people be reached? OAC goes to them where they are.

The fishing is good on the ice in Canada during the winter, when the Rideau Canal in Ottawa becomes the longest skating rink in the world. It's the kind of fishing that Christ spoke about when he said, 'Follow me and I will make you fishers of men'. OAC goes to multitudes of people on the ice during the winter festival, to share the message of salvation with them.

During the warm months there are unlimited opportunities to reach people on the streets, parks and beaches. In a major urban center like Montreal, crowds of 50 people will often gather in an open-air street meeting to hear the gospel.

There are also open doors in the public schools. In Quebec, OAC is overseeing the religious education program in 38 schools, and in Toronto, our evangelist is giving Creation Evangelism presentations at high schools.
