Meet Matthew and Sylvie Glock

Sylvie grew up in Auxerre, France, in a protestant family. At the age of sixteen she responded to the gospel. Matthew grew up in the suburbs of Washington DC. He attended church with his parents from an early age. At the age of eight he decided to follow Christ, and when he was thirteen he responded to a call to be a missionary. He began graduate studies in theology in 1987. Around this time he met Korky Davey, who invited him to come to Europe and preach the gospel. Matthew completed his studies in May 1991 and moved to Europe in June of the same year. One year later, Matthew and Sylvie were married. God has blessed them with two children: Anastasia and Pascal. They have both been working with MEPA since 1993, and Matthew is now responsible for evangelism and training. Looking back, Matthew and Sylvie attest to the truth of Proverbs 18:9, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps".
