ON AN EVEN KIEL

Kiel is a seaside city in the North of Germany. One week every year, thousands of people flood in to see the sailing regatta.

For the last 4 years we have also been there with a team doing open-air work. Many young folk pass our meetings; when we speak with them we often hear of frustration and fear concerning the future.

One of the people we met this year was a middle-aged woman with a pain in her left hand. For 6 months she had been recovering from an accident, and her injury was causing her a lot of problems. She felt isolated and frustrated, and there was no sign of her hand getting better. When she spoke with one of our team members she found love and understanding.

After talking for nearly half an hour, she was put in touch with a church in Kiel. She was very interested in going to that church to hear more about Jesus Christ and the change he can make in a person's life.

We thank God for everybody we met there, and all the people who attended our 28 meetings over 4 days.
